Hello,
i am going to use the ledborg in two projects. In one of them, it is going to be in a solar powered device used to monitor c02 and c0. Ssince it is going to be solar power, i dont want to have it on all the time. I would love to be able to have the ledborg off all the time unless a user toggles a manual switch, in which case i want the ledborg to operate normally.

Hello,
I am creating a server farm using raspberry pi and would like to be able to physically identify each machine by the naked eye. I am interested in the ledborg but have a few questions.
ideally, i could write a java program that will one run in one pi that will serve as a master. a user will interact with the master on a webpage that will have the listing of all the pis in the farm listed by ip. the user will selet thea speicific pi and then the led would illuminiate on that pi.

If we want or have to remove/uninstall LedBorg (its driver, components...), how can we do this?

I'm planning to build a small lamp / status indicator with a box and the ledborg. Please see the attached diagram.
If I set the ledborg at full 222, would I be able to see the box light up through a piece of paper? The idea is for the light to be as diffused as possible —hence the paper—, and make it seem like a tiny lamp. I'm thinking about covering the insides of the box with tinfoil.
What do you think?
Cheers!

Hey guys. So i installed the latest version of arch linux(2013-07-22) which uses kernel 3.6.11-17 and systemd so the package provided obviously would not work. I built the kernel module from source and created a basic script/systemd service file to start it at boot time. Here it is.

Extract the package to /root and move or copy the .service file to /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/

Hi,
I am trying to use the LedBorg with a Raspberry Pi version 2, running Raspbian, Kernel 3.6.11+. The problem is that once I atttach the LedBorg onto the Raspberry Pi, the Pi resets and the LedBorg`s LED clips with different light colours. After the Raspberry Pi boots again, the LedBorg seems to be ok, the colour picker and the demos all seem to be working fine.
But it would still be frustrating to have to restart the Pi everytime I attach the LedBorg onto it.
