The battery pack with 10 AA batteries is not delivering any power to the Thunderborg Lid. I have tested the battery pack and it is delivering juice. When I plug the pack into the board nothing happens.
I am able to Power the Raspberry PI from the USB connection but that is the only item I am able to get to run. The Raspberry PI turns on the Thunderborg Lid; it briefly flashes blue then solid red. I am unable to get the motors to turn.
When I disconnect the USB and connect the battery pack nothing happens

Is it possible to get access to the board schematics?
What is the max current input for the Vcc for the RPi- Would another controller board which draws 4A or 2.5A still get enough current from the PiBorg Vcc?
If both motors and the controller board is running the supply can be drained at 5A*2+4A (or 2.5A) for the controller board?

One of the motors of Thurderborg starts to spin after couple of minutes of running. Its always the same motor.

I am VERY new to this so possibly a daft question but can i control a motor (linear actuator) by sending LOW/HIGH command to a specific Raspberry Pi GPIO pin eg. GPIO.setup(21,GPIO.LOW) ?
Secondary question is how do I reverse polarity ?
thanks

Hello,
Please, what is the pin number that I need to disconnect between the 6 pins of the GPIO to NOT power the Raspberry PI 3 from the ThunderBorg?
My PI 3 is already powered by another stable source and I do not want to use the ThunderBorg's power supply. Indeed, the engines that I use create brownouts that restart my PI 3.
Please, be kind for answering only to my question (what pin?) and not try to make me do otherwise because I don' have any time to do other tests.
I see :
- Pin 1 : 3,3 V
- Pin 3 : GPIO 2
- Pin 5 : GPIO 3
