I purchased a ThunderBorg motor controller last year sometime, but put it aside as I subsequently realised the motors I had could draw more than 5amps in certain circumstances. I got an arduino and motor controller and linked these to a rpi to do the job. I have just ordered a Diablo to use a new rpi3 b+ to replace this setup. I see (after a bit of digging) that you do provide a python3 script for the Diablo.

Second problem now. I got my controller and connected it.
I have then tried to start runMonsterJoy.py and I get the following error:
Loading ThunderBorg on bus 1, address 15
Found ThunderBorg at 15
ThunderBorg loaded on bus 1
Battery monitoring settings:
Minimum (red) 6.98 V
Half-way (yellow) 21.00 V
Maximum (green) 35.02 V
Current voltage 13.95 V

With kind regards

So I have just set up my monsterborg and I am running the canned sequence to test it.
If you watch the video you will notice that it moves forward and backwards about right and then I have the setting for the left spin pretty much on 360, but then when it spins to the right it goes much more slowly and only completes 270.
Why might this be?

Hello all,
We are actually new here, and also new to raspberry pi/thunderborg too.
We were able to successfully install and run the remote control (jstest) program.
Our challenge at the moment is "THE DIDDYBORG V2 IS NOT TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT". The robot is just moving straight.
Please any one with idea on how to achieve this, please help.
Thanks

Has anyone tried the MonsterBorg with the new Raspberry PI 3 A+? If I am not mistaken, the A+ is the same as the B+, just no Ethernet port and only 1 USB port. All at about $10USD less.
I checked the data sheet and the mounting holes are are the same location.
I just ordered everything and will give it a go (after Christmas... yes, I ordered it and have to wait to open it).
Thanks, Ryan aka GreaseM0nk
