Last year at PiWars I had a chat with the team at the PiBorg stand. Someone mentioned that you were bringing out some new better motors? Could you let me know which ones they are?
Thanks

Hi!
What might be the realistic top speed for the MonsterBorg, or the other robots?
I'm searching for the fastest one (under normal battery + RPi weight).

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased 2 Thunderborgs, however i'm having a few issues with them.
Over the past week i've managed to brick 3 Pi's, with the 3rd going out in spectacular fashion!
I'm worried it could be how i'm wiring them up, but i thought the Thunderborg handled the voltage regulation?

Hi,
My son and I had a great time assembling and playing with the MonsterBorg. Thank you for that.
But, we have a problem with preventing the screw from unscrewing itself from the wheel hub.
We have mounted the wheels with the shakeproof washer between the wheel and the screw, but still wheels keeps falling of.
Are we doing something wrong or is there a way to secure the wheels?
BR.
Axel

My thunderborg seems to have stopped working and cannot be detected by raspberry pi. Is there any way to test the thunderborg hardware?

I'd like to laser cut some parts to be compatible with my Thunderborg and Ultraborg boards. I could measure everything with calipers, but I'd rather not have to if someone has already done all the work.
CAD drawings with measurements of each board would be fantastic, but failing that does anyone have accurate measurements for these boards please? Specifically I need to know the outer dimensions of the boards and the locations and sizes of the screw holes in them with respect to the edges.

Multiple Motors were not found using "ThunderBorg.ScanForThunderBorg"
Hello ThunderBorg,
I recently purchased two "ThunderBorg - Dual 5A Motor Controller with DC/DC & RGB LED".
I ran the example with the GUI screen and sliders, the motors and LEDs worked for both boards, no problems.
Then I followed the instructions exactly as stated in (Under "Multiple Boards"):

Hi,
I have 2 hopefully very basic questions
firstly, I have acquired 4 geared motors with the following spec
Current (unloaded): 350 mA
Stall torque: 8.8 kg/cm
Motor rpm: 10,000 ± 5%
Voltage: 6 V nominal (7.5 V max.)
Gear ratio: 75:1
Shaft rpm: 133
Stall current: 5.5 A
given the high stall current, will 2 ThunderBorg controllers be suitable or will I need to go with the Diablo controllers

Hi, I recently started building my MonsterBorg but I ran into a problem. The Yellow/white piece on the right upper corner in step 28 arrived in mail crushed. It looks like a standard jumper cap. Can anyone let me know what it is?

Hi,
I have just completed my build of monsterborg
when booted up does it still output to the HDMI connection?
I get the thunderborg LED startup sequence, and the Pi green Led flashing as if booting but no video output!
am I to assume to only way to ineract is via SSH?
