Where and what are the values should I set for 3S lipo battery (11.1V norminal, 12.6V full) so that the battery monitor LED is of the correct status? Currently on full charge it is showing yellow instead of green.

I'm following "MonsterBorg - Examples - Web UI" and I would like to customise the User Interface.
Where in the monsterWeb.py code it's possible to make changes in order to customise the WEB interface?
For example I would like to have a black (not white) background, change color of buttons and my name written on the left side.
What do I need to do? Modify some line in the code or add new line somewhere?
I think the modifications need to be done somewhere after line 246 in the "# Main page, click buttons to move and to stop" section but I'm not sure.

I realise that calling the MotorsOff function actually puts the motor on hard stop, is there any way to allow the motor to coast to a stop instead of hard stopping? I suppose this will be less harmful to the motors and less likely to tip over when carrying load.

I'm trying to use a PS4 controller with Monsterborg. The button mapping for the PS4 controller (based on jstest /dev/input/js0) is: Button 1 is Circle, B2 is Triangle, B3 is Square, B4 is L1, B5 is R1, B6 is L2, B7 is R2, B8 is Share, B9 is Options, B10 is PS Button, B11 is Left Joystick Enter, B12 is Right Joystick Enter, Left Joystick uses Axes 0 and 1, Right Joystick uses Axes 3 and 4, Left and Right Arrows use Axis 6, Up and Down Arrows use Axis 7. How should I remap the PS4 controller to look like a PS3 controller so it properly controls the Monsterborg?

Assembled monsterborg yesterday. Ssh'd into raspberry Pi to set test programs executable. Before I could run program (monsterSequence.py) robot quit. Upon inspection, discovered circuit board damage around battery connector and leaking batteries. Motors are connected exactly per instruction. The build instructions are clear and concise. What happened? Thanks ahead for any help.

Could you provide a list of the acceptable and the anacceptable PS3 Controller brands for Monsterborg?

My son and I have our MonsterBorg set up and are trying to calibrate settings.py. We have an HDMI display and a wireless keyboard plugged in to the Monsterborg and are not using SSH or VNC in this instance. When we run
DISPLAY 0: Sudo python ~/monster-self-drive/MonsterAuto.py &
We get setup camera input, setup stream processor threads, 4 processor threads set up , setup control loop, wait and then (Monster View:629) Gtk WARNING **: cannot open Display: 0:
Can you give us some advice please?

Hi
I'm busy trying to resurrect my Monsterborg but I'm having problems getting an official PS3 controller to connect via bluetooth. I'm running a Pi3B and Stretch. It appears to "see" the controller but repeatedly says "failed to connect"
Any ideas? Thanks!!

Hi;
I need to try and slow down the motors on the MonsterBorg e.g. when running MonsterJoy.py unless you remember to press L2 the initial take off torque and speed is way too much. This makes tricky manoeuvring a nightmare.
In MonsterAuto there is a separate setting script that allows changing the speed setting.
Is there a way to:
1. Slow down either the overall speed / the initial take off speed with having to remember to press a button?
2. Incorporate a speed % enabling testing to get the speed / take just right?
Thanks

I'm trying to understand how the ThunderBorg works and how to program it, and I have the following questions:
1. When my NiMH batteries are fully charged, they read 13.6V. The MonsterBorg motors are rated at 12V. Does the ThunderBorg reduce the voltage? What's the maximum voltage I can supply (e.g. 4 Li-Ion cells at 14.8V) for these motors?
2. As the batteries are drained, they get below 12V. How low a voltage can the MonsterBorg motors tolerate, and does the ThunderBorg shut down at some lower limit?
