Hello,
I received my monsterborg today and just unpacked it.
Unfortunately the Thunderborg card appears to be broken and rusty (see images).
In addition, one of the motor is also lightly rusty. It is perhaps nothing, but I prefer to tell you as soon as possible in case of an early failure :-)
I would be gratefull if you could send me a new instance of the Thunderborg card.
Best,
Vicks

OK so I have been following your (excellent) assembly guides from your web site and have setup an SD card. I have used a Sept 2017 version of Raspbian Stretch and installed the ThunderBorg and MonsterBorg example scripts using:
bash <(curl https://www.piborg.org/installer/install-monsterborg.txt)
It seemed to work a treat, however, when I looked in the MonsterBorg directory for the ./runMonsterJoy.sh it failed to find it. On looking the directory is blank?

Hi;
In order to install additional software, or even use the Raspberry Pi for other things, without needing to drive the Robot is it OK to plug in a Raspberry Pi Power Supply to the Raspberry Pi. I am guessing that the ThunderBorg Motor Driver Board will need to be switched off so there is no power being supplied from the battery pack?
Just wanting to save battery power?
What about attaching a DC adaptor to the PP3 connector on the ThunderBorg? So that it can be tested without using battery power?
Thanks

Hi
I'm using the monsterSequence.py example in testMode
PerformDrive causes just two motors to turn - one left and one right
PerformSpin works as expected - all four motors spin correctly
Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?
Out of interest I connected a pihut(ps3 type) controller and ran monsterJoy and only two motors ran - and I only get forwards and reverse

Hey, I want to mod my MonsterBorg and give it some LED headlights. I've bought some 12v LEDs and was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations? I thought about daisy chaining an additional ThunderBorg to the existing one and driving the LEDs with these but it's currently out of stock. Would something like a PicoBorg connected to the GPIO pins work? Not sure how you would code the Pi to turn the LEDs on/off so any advice here would also be very appreciated!

It's rare for me when things go exactly as they should, so I celebrate those rare occurrences. I ordered my monsterborg. While waiting I configured the software, including PS3 controller pairing. Upon arrival I assembled the Monsterborg powered it up and nothing... Then I realized I had to run the script to turn on the web UI and/or joystick. Did that, added to boot sequence and eureka! It worked!
Can't wait to start playing around with this thing and am already thinking of building a beach version to carry my "stuff" to the beach for me.

Just unboxed my Monsterborg and had to see one item is damaged, I cant see if it is a full hole or just a bit damage, still would try to assemble it and see if it works, wondering what is the worse can happen if it is really damaged?
Attached an image to show the damaged part.
