ThunderBorg and MonsterBorg

Where can we find link to the schematics for the Thunderborg and the lid?

On Thunderborg- if we connect v+ to 12v and connect the GND would M1+ and M1- show any voltage without connecting to i2c/Pi?

For a working Thunderborg- what is the current draw without drawing any current for the motors?

I managed to install the monsterborg smoothly, and the WEB interface on local network works, but i found a problem using the WEB interface via portforward, the cam image is refreshed only if I reload the page manually, do you have some hint to fix the problem?

I want to add a few sensors such as an ultrasonic range finder on my Monsterborg, however it seems that the GPIO pins are inaccessible. Is there a way to make them usable? Thanks!

After getting my MonsterBorg I had a lot of issues getting the new PS DualShock 4 wireless controller working. Below is what I had to do to get it to pair properly.

$ sudo bluetoothctl

So -
everything is installed and assembled
I reserved an ip address on my router (SKY)

when i put the ip address into the browser it returns saying refused to connect

so how do i speak to the MonsterBorg through the wifi?

Hi, would it be ok to use a lipo battery in place of the 10xAA battery pack? Or are there any other recommended alternatives?

If lipo is ok, are there any particular you would recommend? including voltage and capacity. I was imagining a 4s lipo would be the right replacement.

Hi, I have just tried using my Monsterborg with an afterglow controller. It connected without any problem and was detected by the runMonsterJoy.sh code right away.

Problem 1: I could only go backwards and forwards. No other controls had any effect.

Problem 2: After a a few seconds, when going back or forwards the motors would lock on to a continuous run and there would be no response from the controller at all. the motors would run until I pressed ctrl-c.

Hi, I am very excited to have just got my monsterborg. I am far from a robot expert so I am making tentative steps. I have built the monsterborg and just tried out the monsterSequence.py code. It was way, way off a square so I followed the instructions to adjust the movement. I have found pretty consistently that it goes quite a bit further in reverse than forward (forward was with the camera at the back which kind of surprised me - should it be that way?) and it spins left less than it spins right. Sometimes just a little, sometimes quite a lot, but always more right than left.

I have experienced two problems in using my MonsterBorg.
First I have had several wheels fall off (the grub screws on the axle loosening). I was being careful not to overtighten them, but maybe they need a bit more force? Is it worth adding loctite or similar?

Secondly, when using a PS3 controller with spring loaded joysticks, if I release the forward-backward one on the spring from full on forwards, then it give a motor error (purple led) and the machihe reboots. I find you have to be fairly careful in letting the joystick return to the zero position fairly gently.
